My First Mother’s Day and Other Randomness

I can hardly believe that the twins will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. I say this every week, but I just want them to stay this little forever. Every day I am so thankful to have them in my life.

I know I’ve been slacking on the blog the past week or so. Partly because I wasn’t feeling the layout of my blog and because we’ve had family visiting from out of town. It’s been a busy busy past couple of weeks for the Hickses, including celebrating my first Mother’s Day. It was a great one. We celebrated with a family fish fry at my moms house. It’s always great being around my family and good food for that matter. Looking forward to many more of these celebrations as a MOTHER! 😀

On another random note, I’ve been taking a ton of pictures at home of the twins, but have yet to edit and upload them (no worries, I’m getting there). It’s just hard to find time any more. I’ve got a new editing program VSCO film (you fellow photogs should check it out) that I got as a Mother’s Day gift 🙂 and I love it. I wanted to edit their photos with this program, so I waited. I hope to play catch up this week. No promises. 😉

Here are a few photos of the twins. In these pictures they are about 4 days old. Looking at these pictures I can see how much they have grown. As of their one month check up a couple of weeks ago, Tenley weighed 7lbs 5oz and Tatum was 9lbs 2oz. They are definitely getting heavy. hehe
